Friends, Family, and Lover: What’s Going on with One Another?
Thursday, April 16 from 3:30-5:00pm, Location TBA
We’ll get to know each other a bit while playing charades involving relationships of all types and everything that has to do with them. Questions asking for advice about relationships in general will follow. Come to get to know your fellow soc majors, get or give some advice, and eat free food!
Soc Cinema
Wednesday, May 6 from 6:00-9:00pm, Location TBA
We’ll watch a film and afterwards, a soc faculty member or graduate student will facilitate a discussion. It’s a great way to bond with other soc students, use soc outside the classroom, and eat some free food!
Sociology Undergraduate Symposium
Wednesday, May 20 from 3:30-6:30pm in HUB West Ballroom
Sociology undergraduates will be presenting their sociological research, practicum projects, study abroad experience, and more at the Sociology Undergraduate Symposium. Mingle with other sociology students, faculty, graduate students, and alumni, while see what your peers are doing and explore different possibilities available to you. Refreshments will be provided.
